Take a peek at these top 6 wedding venues in Connecticut to see if they could be a great option for your own wedding day. 

1. Eolia Mansion at Harkness State Park

If you are on the hunt for a one-of-a-kind venue that has a beautiful mix of classic architecture surrounded by beautiful gardens, seriously, look no further because Eolia Mansion is the venue. 

The pergola set with the large pillars set at the end of the sunken garden!!! The sound of the water along Long Island!!! And the interior of the mansion? Unbelievable. Basically what my excitement is trying to say is that you will most certainly have indoor and outdoor options when it comes to your wedding ceremony. 

Things to know about Eolia Mansion: 

  • Location: Waterford, CT
  • Style: Roman Renaissance Revival Style mansion, waterside
  • Rental Availability: March 1st-December 23rd
  • Maximum Capacity: 150

2. The Waveny House

Another mansion inspired by history and trust me when I say she is a stunner. The Waveny House is known in the community for its representation of Canaan culture and heritage. This mansion itself sits on over 300 acres of countryside giving you a taste of the quintessential New England atmosphere from the early 1900’s. 

Things to know about the Waveny House:

  • Scenery: Beautiful gardens, fish pond, getting ready spaces, and flagstone walkways
  • Location: New Canaan, CT
  • Capacity: 160 Guests
  • Rental Availability: Year round on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

3. Branford House

The panoramic ocean views will leave you speechless. The Branford House is another historical estate in Connecticut that has some of the most beautiful grounds you will find in the New England region. 

Things to know about the Branford House:

  • Historical Features: the last built lighthouse of Connecticut was built here, and the garden is known the be apart of the italian Revival style
