As a passionate New Englander, I get way too excited every time I stumble upon a beautiful wedding venue.
So if you’re planning your own New England wedding, here are some of my favorite Wedding Venues In Massachusetts that are absolutely worth adding to your list!

Wedding Venues in Massachusetts to Consider for Your New England Wedding Celebration
1. Garage B
TL;DR: Best for style-forward couples who want to fully curate their day without any limitations.
Garage B is located in Speedway, MA and is technically considered an event space. It’s a true blank slate, so you aren’t locked into a specific aesthetic, layout, or flow. You get to build the day from the ground up in a way that actually reflects you.
These are some of my favorite types of venues because they leave room for creativity. Want a candlelit dinner party vibe? A full-on dance floor moment? Something in between? You can make it happen here. Plus, this space is incredible if you want to incorporate flash into your gallery (which, I can definitely make happen!).
If you’re the kind of couple who wants a unique vibe, the venue gives you the space to do something entirely your own.
2. Willowdale Estate
TL;DR: Best for couples who want a nature-filled, laid-back wedding that still feels elevated.
Located in Bradley Palmer State Park, Willowdale Estate is one of those venues that feels peaceful the second you arrive. This stunning venue is a historic stone mansion surrounded by trees with a beautiful open lawn space.
One of my favorite things about Willowdale is how the day naturally flows. For example, You can move from a garden ceremony to cocktail hour spilling out onto the lawn, into a fun reception.
It’s perfect for couples who love historic buildings but also the vibe of outdoors!

3. Boston Public Library
TL;DR: Best for couples who want a timeless, iconic Boston wedding with a little extra wow factor.
Dreaming about getting married somewhere that feels straight out of a movie? The Boston Public Library might be it. From the courtyard ceremonies to the grand indoor spaces, every corner of this venue feels stunning.
This venue is perfect for couples who love a mix of classic/editorial and want their wedding to feel both timeless and memorable.
4. Olio
TL;DR: Best for couples who want their wedding to feel like an intimate, elevated dinner party.
Olio brings a completely different energy to the table (literally). Instead of a traditional wedding venue, this space leans into that cozy, modern Italian dinner party vibe where the focus is on great food, bomb drinks, and being fully present with your people.
The space itself is warm and inviting, with ambient lighting that creates a relaxed, connected atmosphere. For those who prioritize experience over production, Olio is an ideal fit.
5. Crane Estate
TL;DR: Best for couples who want a coastal, cinematic wedding with breathtaking views.
Crane Estate is one of those venues that feels big in the best way. The sweeping lawn, the ocean views, the grand estate, it all comes together to create a setting that feels incredibly expansive and a little bit surreal.
This is the kind of place where golden hour hits and everything just glows. It’s stunning without needing much added to it, which makes it ideal for couples who want their surroundings to do a lot of the talking.
If you’re dreaming of coastal New England, but also want an elevated estate feel, then Crane Estate offers the best of both.
6. Garrison Inn
TL:DR: Best for intimate weddings that feel cozy, connected, and guest-focused.
Right in the heart of Newburyport, Garrison Inn feels like a hidden gem. Because of its smaller, more personal atmosphere, it’s especially perfect for couples who want their wedding to feel like an experience rather than just a few scheduled hours.
Here, you have options like a rooftop ceremony, indoor reception spaces, and everything stays close and convienent for the flow of the day.
This is such a good fit for couples who care, above all, deeply about their guest experience and want to actually spend time with everyone there.
7. The Herb Lyceum
TL;DR: Best for couples who love nature and want a whimsical, garden-inspired celebration.
The Herb Lyceum feels like stepping into a space that’s been thoughtfully created from the ground up. Between the gardens, greenhouse, and outdoor reception areas, there’s so much texture and life built into the venue itself.
It has this really beautiful balance of being curated without feeling overdone. Additionally, you don’t need to force anything here because the space already brings so much personality to the day.
If you’re looking for something outdoorsy but still intentional and designed, this is a venue worth looking into.
8. Misslewood Events at Endicott College
TL;DR: Best for couples dreaming of a coastal New England wedding that feels both elevated and genuinely relaxed.
Misslewood at Endicott College is the definition of a coastal New England wedding, where ocean views, a historic estate, and a waterfront tent all come together effortlessly. It’s the kind of place where everything feels elevated (not stuffy) and relaxed, so you can stay present and actually enjoy every part of your day.
The oceanfront setting and historic estate create a backdrop that feels naturally elevated without needing to overdo anything, letting the moments, the people, and the experience of the day stand out on their own!

At the end of the day, your venue sets the tone for everything but the best ones are the ones that let you actually enjoy it all. Whether you’re drawn to something coastal, garden-inspired, or right in the heart of the city, Massachusetts has no shortage of beautiful spaces to choose from.
And if you’re looking for someone to help you document it in a way that feels real, relaxed, and actually like you I’d love to be a part of it. You can reach out here or keep exploring the rest of my New England venue guides for more ideas.
