Why a Sebago Lake Wedding Might Be the Prettiest Way to Say “I Do”
If you’ve ever dreamed of a laid-back summer wedding on the water, this Sebago Lake wedding is about to make your heart so happy! Schyler and Jarron planned a whimsical garden party that felt exactly like them — colorful, relaxed, and full of those “this is what life’s all about” moments. Between the wildflowers from Bumbleroot Organic Farm, the sound of the lake lapping in the background, and a group of people who were so ready to celebrate, this day was pure joy from start to finish & I felt so incredibly honored to be a part of it!

A Slow, Sentimental Start to the Sebago Lake Wedding Day
Both Schyler and Jarron got ready in the same place — Jarron’s childhood home in Raymond, Maine — which honestly made the whole morning feel extra sentimental. The girls hung out upstairs, the guys took over the basement, and everyone bounced between laughter, music, and snacks. No chaos, no rigid timelines… just easy, cozy energy before heading down to the lake.

The light poured through the windows, Luna (their cat, obviously the real star of the day) made a few surprise appearances, and there was this calm excitement that set the tone for the rest of the afternoon.

A Whimsical Sebago Lake Wedding That Perfectly Captured Summer in Maine
From the bursts of citrine, orange, and pink flowers everywhere, tables scattered with local blooms, and the soft sound of the water just beyond the trees. The whole setup felt like stepping into a summer daydream — playful, bright, and just a little bit wild (in the best way).

The ceremony took place on a tucked-away point right off the property — a quiet trail opening up to a view of Sebago Lake that looked like something out of a postcard. Friends and family stood around them (they skipped the chairs entirely!) while their close friend officiated, keeping things personal and full of heart. Two readings — one from the bride’s best friend and one from Jarron’s sister — added the sweetest touch.
And honestly? There wasn’t a single phone in sight. Just people being fully there.

The Perfectly Laid-Back Celebration
Once rings were exchanged (with help from both their siblings), everyone headed back toward the house for food, music, and some seriously good vibes. Bird and Co. handled catering — tacos and margaritas, because of course. And Unforgettable Entertainment kept the dance floor alive ALL night.

The whole evening had that effortless, lakeside feel that can’t be planned. The golden hour light on the water, guests barefoot in the grass, and the kind of laughter that carries across the lake.
