Vermont may be small, but damn is it mighty when it comes to embracing New England culture, history, and charm. Here are 8 Vermont wedding venues that will leave you in awe.

1. Grafton Inn

The Grafton Inn is one of the most quintessential Vermont wedding venues. Truly. It is certainly one of the most talked about and also stands up to its representation for “preserving the future”.

• Dining here is upscale and is often found winning awards (it’s that good!)
• The wedding venue is located in an historic village, which actually becomes a part of your wedding venue too!

2. Trapp Family Lodge

Maybe you’ve learned this already about New England, but if you haven’t, here’s the deal: there is no shortage of culture here. And at the Trapp Family Lodge, you’ll be welcomed with Austrian inspired lodging that makes you feel like you’re anywhere but the state of Vermont. 

My Favs: 

• Located in Stowe, VT (do I need to say more?)

• The accommodations are truly a slice of Heaven here

3. Edson Hill

Any boutique hotel lovers here? If so, you’re going to absolutely adore Edson Hill! 

My Favs: 

• The perfect space to host a full-blown wedding retreat
• You get the whole 38 acres when you book your wedding here
• The year-round activities/accommodations are a steal

Edson Hill is perfect for you if: 

• You want a wedding experience rooted in connection, and the ability to stay all in one place
• You’re looking for a venue within dining, service team, wedding planning, and exclusive access for pre-wedding events such as your engagement shoot
• You need tent accessibility for larger receptions (up to 200 guests!)

4. Woodstock Inn & Resort ft. Billings Farm

Have you always imagined sharing vows surrounded by the most beautiful scenery featuring a few farm animals or two? Well, at Woodstock Inn & Resort you can do just that with Billings Farm right next door. The antique barns are a bonus! 

My Favs: 

• I may be biased as a fellow born and raised TN girl, but I do believe Billings Farm speaks for itself. It’s a beautiful property that would be perfect for a Spring/Fall wedding
• You get the luxurious feel of the Woodstock Inn and Resort paired with charming scenery all around
• The most options for hosting your ceremony that I have ever seen as a venue

5. West Mountain Inn

If you love farm to table, look no further. The West Mountain Inn has been hosting guests for over 30 years and does not plan to slow down anytime soon. 

My Favs: 

• The historic 1900’s barn that has been remodeled to host weddings? Say less. 
• Guest rooms on top of guest rooms (17 to be exact!) — everyone can stay all in one place!
• Alpacas?!?! 

West Mountain Inn is perfect for you if: 

• You’re looking for a venue that can welcome your guests with open arms and make sure they all feel at home
• You want to have a dedicated wedding weekend vacation 
• Are on the hunt for a wedding venue that can cater to intimate celebrations as well as large celebrations

6. Farm Road Estate

Who says you have to sacrifice hospitality with style? Farm Road Estate gives you that timeless feel with a beautiful sense of design.

• Onsite kayaking, canoeing, fishing, and swimming — this is perfect for a summer weekend wedding retreat vibe
• Garden-esque design with a beautiful touch of Vermont charm throughout the entire property
• Another farm to table venue

This Vermont Wedding Venus is for you if:

7. Awol

Outdoorsy, but make it chic. That’s exactly the vibe you’ll experience when celebrating your wedding at Awol. 

My Favs: 

• The A frame cabins are so freaking cute, plus they are actually very spacious on the inside giving you the perfect mix of cozy and comfort
• The grounds are so thoughtfully designed! Truly a beautiful escape in the middle of a forest
• A resort like experience unlike any other venue in Vermont

Awol is perfect for couples who: 

• Don’t want to sacrifice luxury with nature
• Are planning an intimate celebration with their closest friends and family (up to 120 guests, outdoor and 75 guests indoor)

8. Stowe Mountain Resort

It doesn’t matter what season you chose to get married at Stowe Mountain Resort. This Vermont wedding venue is one of the most beautiful places in New England. 

My Favs:
